Nomination Information

To nominate your student intern, please provide a short paragraph that includes the student's name, internship duties/projects, and why the student deserves this award to jahsemil@mizarchessengine.com. Non-winning nominations will be considered for future months, so you only have to submit a nomination once per intern. 

一道本不卡免费高清We review all nominations each month and pick the best and brightest intern to feature on ISU's main webpage, the News & Notes, as well as the Idaho State Journal. Interns will also receive an official certificate, a Chartwells' food voucher, CPI swag and bragging rights for the entire month!

  1. Read and review the CPI Guidelines.
  2. Post internship description on Handshake (optional).
  3. Select student for desired position.*
  4. Send student to The Office of Human Resources to fill out all required HR forms.
  5. Complete the Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) on Bengal Web and submit the CPI Agreement Form to the CPI Office (Stop 8108).
  6. Wait to receive approval email from the CPI Office confirming the internship’s start date.

*A fair, equitable, and consistent selection process should be followed by the hiring department.

  1. Read and review the CPI guidelines.
  2. Complete the .
  3. Watch for correspondence from the CPI office regarding the application.
  4. If funding is available, the off-campus organization can post the position on Handshake (contact the Career Center) or select a student through their own recruiting process. The student must be majoring/minoring in the college that is funding the position
  5. Select student and instruct them to contact the related college/department to start the required paperwork.
  6. Wait to receive approval email from the CPI Office confirming the internship’s start date.
  7. Ensure time cards are signed off by the off-campus supervisor and submitted to the ISU supervisor on a biweekly basis. Student interns may only work up to 20 hours per week.
  8. Communicate with the ISU supervisor on a regular basis to ensure high-quality internship opportunities.

  2. Contact the department or faculty member within your major/career or look on Handshake for current CPI internship opportunities.
  3. Apply for the internship.
  4. Work with the college/department to complete all required paperwork including the CPI Agreement Form and all HR documents.
  5. Wait to receive approval email from the CPI Office confirming the internship’s start date.
